FEFC News, Events and Information
Starting May 23, our new summer Worship
times will be Saturday at 6 p.m. (no child care
available during this service) and Sunday at 10
a.m.
• The 8th annual Northwoods Hymn Festival will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church Saturday, July 11 (7 p.m.), Sunday, July 12 (3 p.m.), and Monday, July 13, (7 p.m.). This year over 100 singers from the area (some from our own church) and out-of-area communities will participate in this joyful Hymn Festival. This year’s donations go to benefit the Lakeland Food Pantry and the Campanile Center for the Arts.
• The next softball game is at the Lake Tomahawk field on June 22 at 6:45 p.m.
If you are interested in playing you can call Shane Hoffmann at 356-4104 or go to www.myhcy.com to get directions to the fields. Come and cheer them on!!
• Please pray daily for the students and leaders that are on the mission trip in Ensenada, MX. There is a list of prayer requests at the Information Desk. If you would like to follow along on their journey they have a blog at www.worshipwithourlives.blogspot.com and you can also visit www.missionadventuresphotos.org which will have daily updates of pictures.
• LOST & FOUND: We have a table in the Fellowship Hall with articles from the Lost & Found box, please look it over to see if you own any of the items.

• The coffee is now going to be served in the foyer area. A great time for fellowship,
to connect with old friends and a chance to make new ones.
• The Tuesday Morning Men’s Study is done for the summer. Watch the Bulletin for the date it will resume in the fall.
Vacation Bible School Needs:
• 4 to 5 people each day to donate: 4-6 dozen cookies or 1 -2 boxes of popsicles (100 a day) and we would also like to be able to provide cut up fruit for the kids (bananas, oranges or apples). If you are able to donate any of these items please sign up at the Communication Center.
• Volunteers are needed and always greatly appreciated.
• Supplies needed include: empty paper towel rolls, paint stir sticks and empty tuna fish cans.

Faith Free Summer Games (VBS) will be July 20-24, 9-11:30 a.m.
• As we are growing larger there is also a need to have more people on our Nursery Teams. (You would only have to serve once every 8 weeks.) Please contact Sue Bruggink at 588-3074.

• WOW (Women on Weights) is held on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7:15 a.m. This is a great time of fellowship and exercise with free weights and floor exercises. Any questions, call Sue Bruggink at 588- 3074.
• The Lakeland Area Community Senior Center and Goodwill industries will be joint-venturing to open a "drop-off site" at the Senior Center in Woodruff. It will be open two days a week, Monday and Wednesday, starting June 1. They are needing volunteers to help from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on those days. There is a list of tasks either in your mailbox or at the Information Desk. You may contact Bob Murray if you have questions.
• The ADS UP bulletin board gives an opportunity to post items for giveaway, sale, rent, items needed, employment needed or available, etc. The board is located at the Communication Center. Cards can be filled out and given to the church secretary for posting.
