FEFC News, Events, and Information
• Growing Together classes began January 3. See the adult ministries page for information regarding the class offerings.
• The next Book Club will meet on February 18 at 7:00 p.m. at the church. The book we will be discussing is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. The book we choose for March is The Penny, by Joyce Meyers. Bring a friend!
• Valentine banquet at Fort Wilderness: “A Cruise through the Years”, Friday, February 12, 6:30 p.m., lobster and tenderloin, with the gentle violin of Marvin & the compelling song of Kristin. Call 277-2587 to reserve a deck chair for $30.00. Cruise participants are asked to arrive between 6:00 & 6:30 p.m.
• Seniors next get together is February 10. The meeting is 10:30, games at 11:00, noon is soup buffet and beef sandwiches for lunch. Sign up at the Communication Center.
• FAITH EVANGELICAL FREE WINTER FUN DAY AT FORT WILDERNESS (This is for everyone! Members, Non-Members and Guests), SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 28, Activities begin at 1:00 p.m. and end promptly at 4:30 p.m. Cross Country Skiing, Ice Skating, Snowshoeing, Tubing, Broomball, Sleigh Rides, Table Games (please bring your favorite), Fireside Fellowship and crafting. New This year: There will not be a dinner to follow. We need to be out of the building by 5:00 p.m. We will graze on snacks and drinks in the Main Dining Room from 1:00-4:30 p.m. PLEASE BRING 1 OR 2 OF THE FOLLOWING: *Hot chocolate *Soda *Tea *Juice *Favorite snack food. • Good Fellowship, Food and Fun! A Ladies Salad Luncheon, "Reflections", February 20, 11:30 a.m., FEFC Fellowship Hall, Sign up at the Communications Center. Hope to see you there! Friends welcome too!
• Baby Bottle Fundraiser - Baby bottles are available in the lobby for you to fill with your spare change in the next 3 - 4 weeks. The money will be used to fund the start-up of the Northwoods Pregnancy Center. Their Mission: “To provide a place where we desire to empower individuals in the greater Oneida County area to make healthy life choices related to their sexuality and child bearing focused on a Christ-like view of human life. “ Return bottles to the Office Workroom.
• Every Tuesday night at 6:30 p.m. Jerry and Ann Peters open up their home for anyone who is 20-something! Dinner is always served, followed by some type of activity, cards, watching a football game etc…just hanging out and talking with people your own age. Invite a friend!!
